Meat Yazawa for Takeout in Ebisu, specializing in takeout Hamburg steak bentos, was newly built in Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, with plans to share the same kitchen with BLACOWS, a hamburger restaurant located on the same block that was recently renovated.
The entire store facade was provided with sash windows with stainless steel frames, so the interior space of the store is clearly visible from the outside. At the center of the store stands a stainless steel counter integrated with a cash register and a showcase displaying samples of bentos and fresh meat. Above the counter hang stainless steel pendant lights. Like the same finishes used in BLACOWS, walnut was used for the ceiling and furnishings, and terrazzo and mortar with stainless steel trimmings were laid on the floor.
Overall, the ubiquitous use of stainless steel allows customers to feel comfortable stopping by the store, and provides a modern and airy ambience. At the same time, the walnut and terrazzo used as an accent provide a traditional and dignified ambience suitable for the store specializing in takeout Hamburg steak bentos.
